Frame privacy policy

Effective October 26, 2026

Photographs and projects

Frame processes your photographs on your device. When you import a photograph, Frame keeps a copy in its local project gallery. Framing and export happen on your device. Frame does not upload your photographs to a Frame server.

Frame stores your projects, editing settings, finished images, and whether you have used the included first save on your device. Frame has no user account, advertising SDK, or app-operated analytics service.

Purchases

Frame Pro uses Apple in-app purchases. Apple handles payment and purchase records under its own privacy policy. Frame checks your current purchase entitlement to unlock Pro features. Frame does not receive your payment card details.

Sharing and deletion

When you share an image, iOS and the destination app handle the copy you share under their own terms. If you choose Instagram Story, Frame passes the image to Instagram, which is a separate service.

You can remove projects from Frame in the gallery. If a finished image was saved to iPhone Photos, Frame may ask iOS to remove that saved export too. The original photograph you imported stays in Photos. Deleting the app removes its local projects; exports already saved in Photos remain until you remove them there.
